I use it almost every day and never had any problems with burning nrg, iso, bin, img formats. If some image refuses get along I burn it in RAW mode.. Bought a DVD burner recently (NEC DVD_RW_ ND-1300A) and am having trouble burning DVD'S. I am constantly getting "Could not perform start of a straight cd drive and am not burning "on the fly" I also have tried burning it as a image, that works but cannot get it to go onto the blank DVD (DVD-R - 4.7GB UL-Tran)

DVD-RW or CD-RW Recommendations
If it does i would switch to this from CD and give the DVD stage a miss. Trouble is you always need two of everything with all this stuff which makes CD favourite by burning a premium master (Fuji/KOdak) but using cheap CD copies for work and wide distribution? Cheers Pete -- Agripicture Images
