So I made an iso image of the dvd. Then I played with k3b till i configured my writer and then i burn the image. And the dvd works perfectly with the gps. But if you just want more copies, Disk Copy works great - but you need to do a "New image from *device*..." (my emphasis - I learned this the hard way) and choose "DVD/CD Master" as the image file type when creating the DVD disk image. Then a simple "Burn image..." will do the right thing.

Not much information on Drive Image. I did everything the website said to do for the error message I got on Ghost and still will not burn image. up as if he has trouble he will end up calling me. There are several programs besides Ghost. SimpleBackup is one, and it works with DVD-R/RWs as well as CD-R/RWs.

Anyway I am having loads of trouble backing up Age of Empires2 which is Safedisk protected. I can read the disk as RAW using DDump or DiskJuggler to make the image but when I come to burn the image I get loads of problems. CDR Win crashes and locks up my machine. I tried with DiskJuggler but it crashed too.
